Do you have questions about reducing risk and your student organization? Are you interested in learning how to better support your student group’s activities? Student Activities and Involvement is teaming up with the Office of Risk Management to provide current advisors of RSOs an online workshop on strategies to reduce potential risk associated with student organization activities.  In this ENGAGE Web Series session we’ll identify types of risks, explore the unique role(s) of student organization advisors, and provide techniques to reduce potential risk through advising and enterprise risk methods.

This session is designed for Registered Student Organization Advisors Only

This session is presented by Todd Morrone, Assistant Director for the Office of Risk Management Services and moderated by Solange Douglas, Assistant Director for Student Organizations and Andrea Drausal, Program Coordinator from Student Activities and Involvement.

The ENGAGE Web Series is an online webinar program presented by the Department of Student Activities and Involvement to provide a toolkit for student leaders and student organization advisors to gain skills and connect with campus resources on various topics of leadership and organization management. With over 900 student groups registered on campus and over 4,000+ annual events, student organizations and their advisors serve a vital role to creating a signature student experience at the University of Florida. Visit the SAI’s Virtual Services website for past presentation offerings and resources or connect with us for more information.
