You may have heard that getting involved is the best way to make connections, extend your education outside of the classroom, and most importantly have fun at UF! And we couldn’t agree more. We like to think of engagement as purposeful involvement and it comes in a variety of forms. It could be joining an organization that matters to you, your community, or your future career. Or possibly participating in a one-time or weekly event. It could even be getting a job on campus. Being actively engaged is essential to your experience at UF.

It makes your unique experience exactly that, yours.

There are numerous ways to be engaged on campus, and we want to help. If you are interested in a student organization, take our involvement quiz below. This will help narrow down your search and provide suggestions to find your place on campus.

Want to meet with someone for a personal appointment? Not a problem. SEA Team (SEA Team) meets with any individual looking to get involved on campus. To schedule the appointment, take the quiz, so the SEA member can get a jump start on recommending organizations that may be the best fit.

Individual Involvement Consultations

With over 1,000 student organizations and many campus opportunities to explore, the Student Engagement Ambassadors will connect 1:1 with you to help you navigate your involvement journey! IIC's are a casual conversation that allows the ambassadors to learn more about your interests, passions, and hobbies to develop an action plan for you to utilize as you explore opportunities to become involved on campus.

Student Organization Fairs

Each semester the Office for Community & Belonging hosts Student Organization Fairs, where numerous organizations come out and connect students to new opportunities or events, provide information about membership, and are open to everyone! Student Organizations also showcase their various achievements, creativity, and talent.

Our Fall 2024 Student Organization Fair will be on Wednesday, September 4th from 5:00 pm –7:00 pm in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center.
